Covid-19 and other longer-term trends mean now more than ever we need to develop diverse international education offerings for New Zealand.
These new products and services could be centred around areas of New Zealand excellence and expertise, and be based around global challenges and causes (building on past engagement between ENZ and the sector, whilst exploring new possibilities). These challenges and causes include the delivery of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), improving equity and inclusion, and the incorporation of Indigenous world views.
You may already be doing amazing work in this space. We want to connect with you! This webinar is just the start – it will launch a more involved co-design process.
In this webinar you will:
- Find out about how you can get involved in this ENZ-led programme of work to explore a future for international education that is resilient and delivers a broad range of benefits to NZ.
- Join participants from a broad range of organisations, from those directly involved in international education through to global challenge and cause experts.
- Hear from Kate Sutton (Head of the Innovation Centre for the UN Development Programme) and Melissa Clark-Reynolds (ONZM, business leader & technology entrepreneur) who will share some of the emerging opportunities and drivers for change that they’re seeing globally.
- Hear from ENZ Board Member Shruthi Vijayakumar (recognised as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum) on the importance of exploring new directions for international education in NZ, and what they could look like.
