Welcome to Game On English, a premium New Zealand programme that provides students with the opportunity to learn English and receive world class sports coaching while exploring one of the safest and most beautiful countries in the world.

What does Game On English offer?

While Game On English packages vary, a typical programme will run for up to four weeks. Students are usually provided with three hours of English language tuition in the morning and three hours of high performance coaching and training in their chosen sport in the afternoon.

Students live with homestay families and explore New Zealand’s culture and lifestyle on weekends.

Who provides Game On English?

Game On Rugby EnglishLaunched in 2014, Game On English is run as a partnership between schools or English language providers and sporting organisations. The programme is officially endorsed by the New Zealand government.

Students are taught English by highly qualified and experienced teachers. The sports coaching and training component of Game On English is provided by established sports providers, or by secondary schools that have a high performance sports training programme.

What do Game On English students gain?

Game On English students receive high-quality coaching and training in their chosen sport while gaining English language skills in an immersive English language environment.

Students live with friendly homestay families, and spend their weekends experiencing New Zealand’s relaxed lifestyle, unique culture and stunning natural environment.

For many students, Game On English is a life-changing experience. They make friends from around the world, build their self-confidence, independence and teamwork, and gain skills that will help to improve their future.
