International photo round-up

Here is some of what our International and in-country teams have been up to promoting studying in Aotearoa New Zealand over the past four weeks.

ENZ Programme Manager Asia Naluri Bella (left) attended the welcome reception of Hon Nanaia Mahuta (right) on Wednesday, 12 July at the NZ Embassy in Jakarta. Minister Mahuta was in Jakarta to represent New Zealand in a series of Association of Southeast Asian Nations-hosted Ministerial meetings.

ENZ & the NZ High Commission KL co-hosted a seminar on Education & Health Relationship targeting indigenous students in Sarawak, East Malaysia. ENZ collaborated with Sarawak Women for Women Society (SWWS) and Sarawak Dayak National Union (SDNU). ENZ Programme Manager Asia Naluri Bella took the opportunity to build relationships and connect with indigenous organisations, social-enterprises, and communities at the Sarawak innovative hub, Tegas Digital.

Market Development Manager Europe Adina Stoye (middle) attended an Alumni event at the Ambassador’s residence in Berlin, hosted by the University of Otago. The university has a long history of students traveling from across the world to complete full degrees or an exchange or study abroad experience.

On 3 July, ENZ Senior Market Development Manager Asia Kay Lee met with the principal of Yewon Arts School along with Ambassador to Seoul, H.E. Dawn Bennet to build a connection and explore potential opportunities for education diplomacy and promoting NZ as a study destination for English learning/visual arts.

The ENZ Vietnam team organised the Future Skills Camp for Vietnamese students hosting 50 students split into 10 teams, from Ho Chi Minh city, Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Da Lat city. 

Students had the opportunity to learn more about ENZ, how to create simple webpage using coding with the help of Code Avengers, and presentation skills (in English) from Mr. Ho Kinh Dat, owner of IELTS With Datio, who is also an influencer teacher in Viet Nam.
